Cinque Mulini (Five Mills) is a historical event that was held for the 81st time in 2013. It is a footrace through the stunning beauty of the landscape around San Vittore Olona, a small town whose traditional event has gone on to serve as a model for similar events in many other countries around the world. Emmegi was the official technical sponsor for this year’s race (2-3 February 2013).

The Cinque Mulini draws in the big Italian and international names in cross-country running. The name derives from the fact that the route passes by five mills, as well as along watercourses and through narrow passages. The first day of the event (February 2) was dedicated to professional runners from Italy and abroad. The program for the following day featured races with runners at various levels ensuring that all could take part. Emmegi has always participated with great enthusiasm in events and projects that promote culture, nature and sports. For the 81st Cinque Mulini, Emmegi provided a self-supporting 3 x 3 m videowall, which was positioned on stage to allow the spectators to watch all phases of the race.
