Last December 7, on the occasion of opening night for Teatro della Scala in Milan, two Emmegi videowalls

were set up in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele to provide live coverage of the event.

Planned and developed by the Milan city administration and Social Policies Office, the initiative featured a

special event: Wagner’s Lohengrin, which opened the Teatro della Scala season, was projected live on 22

jumbo screens and videowalls set up in the center of town and in the more peripheral neighborhoods.

These projections were part of the “Verdi and Wagner in town” initiative, produced jointly by the City of Milan and Edison, with the collaboration of Teatro della Scala in a dual role: engage and familiarize a broad audience with the works of the two composers, and also to celebrate the bicentennial of their birth (both were born in 1813).

Emmegi wishes everyone happy holidays!
